About NEA Good Dives

How NEA started
NEA started in 2024, but my connection with the water goes back to childhood. I'm a skydiving instructor, and the ocean has always been an equally big passion of mine. I practiced freediving for years, and in 2022, I decided to take it further and train to become an AIDA instructor.
Puerto Vallarta is our home, and we believe it's a paradise with so much to offer. We noticed there weren't many freediving schools here, despite having great conditions for the sport. That's where the idea for NEA came from: creating a place where beginners could discover freediving and experienced freedivers could train and keep progressing.
Spearfishing and other water activities are also part of what we offer. It all comes from the same place: sharing our passion for the ocean and helping others enjoy it.
What makes NEA special
At NEA, we want you to leave with more than memories of a beautiful day on the water. We want you to learn, build confidence, and progress, whether you're trying freediving for the first time or have been practicing for years.
I'm very hands-on with teaching, and I pay close attention to safety protocols and the details that make each experience special. It matters to me that you understand what you're doing, move at your own pace, and enjoy the learning process.
That's what NEA is about: a genuine experience in the sport, personal attention, and the chance to enjoy this incredible place we call home.
